Supermeat & Fish Awards

The SuperMeat & Fish Awards 2010 winners were announced at the glittering awards ceremony on Thursday 1st July at the prestigious Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London.
Set up more than a decade ago to reward excellence in Supermarket retailing and manufacturing of meat, poultry and fish products, the SuperMeat and Fish Awards are the largest of their kind for the meat industry.
Sainsbury’s scooped the top accolade at this year’s Awards being named Meat and Fish Retailer of the Year 2010. The retailer wowed the judges – and beat off the competition from its national rivals – across a long list of criteria, including the overall quality of its meat and fish products and its excellent counter displays at stores throughout the UK.
